Barn Owls in the Old Mill

In September we discovered four barn owl chicks in a barn owl nest box in our old grain mill just off the courtyard. Many thanks to Captain Jerry Woodham who came and ringed the all four owlets. Good news – as of 27th October, they have all fledged and flown the nest.
