The Physic Garden

The Physic Garden - Sheepdrove Organic Farm Eco Conference Centre

An aromatic place for delegates to relax or a stimulating break out area for brainstorming. 

Our inspiring Physic Garden was planted by the renowned herb grower, JekkaMcVicar. Each bed has a theme including plants used in aromatherapy, culinary herbs, apothecary herbs and medicinal herbs for animals.

An exceptional setting for a barbecue or hog roast on a sultry summer’s evening.

The Boat House and Lake

The Boat House is a short 10 minute walk from the centre, nestled just beyond the woodland overlooking Sheepdrove's private lake.

A tranquil location ideal for creative meetings, blue sky thinking, teambuilding and enjoying open views of the countryside.

Team Building Activities

Large open outdoor spaces for team building activities

We have a dedicated  field and woodland situated just behind the conference centre can be used for a variety of team building activities. The large flexible rooms of the conference centre can also host a variety of activities and events too. Some examples that have taken place at Sheepdrove:

Sheep Herding (putting the Sheep in Sheepdrove) | Falconry | Archery | Treasure hunts | Laser clay shooting | Bushcraft & survival courses | Chocolate making | Willow weaving | Human table football | Barn dances/Ceilidh's | Seasonal conservation projects | Duck herding | Cake decorating | Paddle boarding.

Farm Tours

Delegates and groups can do a walking a tour around the farm or ride in style on our tractor and trailers, with commentary from our farm and conservation team members. Take in the landscape and understand how the 2,500 acre organic farm operates - from the organic arable, pasture, woodland, healthy animals and spacious husbandry systems along with insights into the the wildlife and conservation projects

on the farm.
